Britta Water Filter Reviews

Do you like camping? Do not forget your camping water filter!

It’s great to be out and felt like I was in harmony with nature, living off the land. No electronic devices or stress at work to worry, just outside the door.

When I’m camping, I always imagine what being a pioneer in the march of hundreds of forest, even years before. I wonder what they did to keep warm and dry before the arrival of Gor-Tex and Thinsulate! Could be very uncomfortable, I guess.

Another good modern facilities have been camping water filters.

It is not really glamorous … I imagine that our ancestors enjoyed dipping the right room on the cold mountain stream found along his travels.

However, waterborne diseases were present and common, serious, back in the day, and they are now. Just do not hear much because we have easy access systems water treatment at our disposal.

It is important to realize that the filter is doing more than simply having sand, leaves and mud in the water. It is also the detection of harmful bacteria such as giardia, which can make you sick!

I used to go to a camp where there was a picture of a pee in the river Doe. The caption reads: “His relief -. His sadness” So giardia is transferred, and I think – I will not!

When it comes to water filters for camping, you have several different options.

First – you have a hand pump and filter. The water pumps at the lake or river and a bottle of water, which passes through a filtration system first. You’ll have to pump the water through, but it’s easy – even the bitty little boy scouts can do.

Second – you have a filter in your water bottle. Simply fill the water bottle and go … as a Britta water filter, water passes through the filter and clean to drink.

Third – you have a water treatment ultra-violet, as the pre-filter, which passes the water with light rays, sterilize and kill germs.

There are also different pills and drops, you can put in the water. I have used drops of iodine, but I think my teeth stained yellow. So you want to be careful to put additives in the water as these chemicals are consumed yourself. May be the lesser of two evils.

Personally, I think the camping water filter is the way forward. You can get one to share with your family or save the world entire bottle filter. It’s good to have options.
